Making an Impact (Elko Daily Free Press)

Spring Creek High graduate Johnna Ward played in Nevada's first two games of the 2007-08 season. The true freshman played 14 minutes and recorded two steals in the Lady Wolf Pack's 62-51 victory Friday against Santa Clara. She scored her first collegiate points in 12 minutes of action during Nevada's 67-61 loss Sunday to San Diego State.
